SignoTab supports the key elements required by any document workflow process:  Identity management, data security & document, distribution & storage.   The identity management components use an electronic signature, biometric data and electronic hardware to ensure the person signing a document is indeed the one intended to do so.  The identity profile is attached to the document in a tamper-proof manner ensuring current and future identity management capabilities.   

In addition to collecting an e-signature on the signature pad, customers can tailor the solution to ensure that identity management and authentication can be done locally or remotely subject to the risk management guidelines of the application.  

The complete solution allows the organisation to centrally handle their secure and legally binding e-documents.  It interfaces with the in-house programmes generating documents to be signed, it handles the actual signature collection process and work-flow, it allows for a specific sequence of signatures to be applied and it manages the storage (it adds the needed attributes to each document as a pre-process before storage and archiving) and distribution process of the signed documents.   It is NOT an archiving system, it is integrated with the customer's own storage and archiving systems.
